Happy Easter

Wishing you a warm, peaceful Easter filled with beauty, tradition, and new discoveries

It has been so wonderful to be outside so much this spring with wonderful sunshine and no need for an umbrella!

To watch all the spring flowers so magnifically come to vibrant life so quickly and the trees and hedges burst into life, that new green replacing brown branches and dead looking hedges certainly makes the heart sing and puts some of the gloom behind us everyone seems to have a spring in their step.

We start a new season with some lovely new stock that will be ideal for so many of my clients and we look forward to you visiting us or showing you items in situ.

I am now just planning our annual exciting Easter Egg hunt designed for adults and grandchildren that gets more complicated and lengthier every year, before we eat our Easter Sunday lunch with decorated blossom tree, antique China chicken
tureens for vegetables and even Steiff lambs looking down on us enhancing the table.

The daffodils are out in force

The daffodils are out in force

The garden has at long last woken up and is showing wonderful signs of life with thousands of snowdrops and aconites. The daffodils are about to burst out of their buds, the trees will be green again and the dreariness and mud will be a thing of the past.

So, with the winter chills and longer, brighter days ahead with a spring in our step we can enjoy getting on with all of those jobs inside and outside that we have been putting off!

A fresh coat of paint or a luxurious wall covering to brighten up a room, re arrange the furniture and invest in one or two new pieces, add a beautiful piece of china or porcelain to your collection or lovely glass and silver to make the Easter table sparkle and enhance the newly decorated rooms.

I am currently replacing carpets, a very overdue experience. Quite a daunting experience with so much furniture to move in every room, but so worthwhile when completed.
